Looking Forward To…
Apple TV:
Ever since I bought a Mac mini I’ve been obsessed with the concept of the HTPC. The Apple TV looks to be just what I was looking for to fill my multi-room HTPC needs. Now if I can just get the author of Remote Buddy to add HID support for USB game controllers so I can control my Mac and play my 20GB video game ROM library through a single interface…
The Power of the Dark Crystal
I was a huge fan of the original. I’ve seen it countless times and when I heard back in May 2005 that they were planning a sequel for 2008 2009 I nearly fell out of my chair. I have 100% faith in Genndy Tartakovsky.
Disappointed with…
Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess
I’m not really disappointed with the game, just that it STILL is not available for the GCN. They promised this game would come out in 2004… nearly 3 years later and I’m still waiting. Nintendo decided to not release the good version until after people played it on the Wii. This was obviously done because people would enjoy the original controls over the waggle interface and non-mindless sheep would in turn not buy the Wii. Since I’m not a mindless sheep I decided to wait it out for the December 2006 release of the better controlled GCN version.
Wii
Why have you done this to us, Nintendo? The W.aggle i.t i.nterface (Wii) is a huge let down for me. Last year I was so excited. This year I’m crying a little inside.
PS3 price
I can’t believe that last year we all thought the PS3 would cost about $400. Sony is now charging $600… for a video game console. Yikes! The funny thing is that I’d rather pay $600 for a normal video game experience than spend $250 for the ability to wave my arms to control a game.
PSU
I was so ready for this game but since the 360 servers are not linked to the PS2/PC versions I lost all interest. Plus the initial reviews told us to stay away until all of the content gets fully released. I’m really disappointed with Sega’s attempt at releasing this game.
