Devin Townsend Boot 2000

As some of you can tell from my listening habits, I’m a mega-huge Devin Townsend fan. I first heard his voice on Steve Vai’s “Sex and Religion” album. Devin was a mere 19 then and his voice was unbelievably mature. Now-a-days he sings and plays guitar in two bands: SYL and The Devin Townsend Band (you may have also seen him in The Osbournes ads on MTV).
Anyway, I ordered his “Official Bootleg 2000” album from his site a few days ago and it arrived today! along with the CD’s he also sent a hand signed thank you letter with my name on it and everything. I can’t express my respect for him enough because of this gesture… what a great guy!
If you are at all interested in prog/metal/rock/ambient music. I can not recommend him enough. Seriously, give a few of his songs a couple of open-minded run throughs… you won’t regret it.
